摘要: Abstract This paper introduces a thermally scanned material deposition control method for near-net shape manufacturing of metal parts by welding. To eliminate thermal distortion and the required intermediate-layer milling steps, to structure, plasma arc scan welding under infrared pyrometry sensing regulates temperature field providing in-process heat treatment part. In laboratory tests, is simultaneously deposited gas torch, with monitoring weld profile two laser stripe profilometers. These sensors provide measurements bead width its feedback modulation wire feed. compensate measurement delays, real-time prediction model employed, parameters identified during process. Preview geometric surface irregularities in front used as feedforward ensure desired layer patterns adjacent beads. The performance this bead-size scheme assessed experimentally on robotic station, applications technique are explored rapid customized products.
