摘要: Abstract This study was carried out to determine the characteristics and incidence of hearing loss vestibular disturbance in Behcet’s syndrome with a large number patients. Sixty-two patients were included this study, 34 men 28 women whose mean age 33.7 (15–60). healthy normal control subjects (38 male 24 female) included. Patient groups questioned about any history audio-vestibular underwent physical ENT examination following audiologic tests: pure tone audiometric test (0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6 kHz), tympanogram, speech discrimination, short increment sensitivity index, tone-decay test, auditory brainstem response. Vestibular system evaluated by videonistagmogram caloric test. Cranial magnetic resonance imagine (MRI) who have disturbances practiced examine central nervous system. Both patient tested HLA-B51 antigen. Pure audiogram showed sensory-neural (⩾25 dB level at least two frequencies) 20 62 (32%) while group normal. There involving high frequencies audiograms disturbances. The recruitment investigation tests brain stem response confirmed cochlear involvement all Caloric stimulation revealed function group. In electronystagmography, 21 (34%) had hypometric or hypermetric saccades smooth pursuit showing that 4 (6%) pathological changes antigen found positive 15 loss. Conclusion : (1) is more prevalent than previously recognized; (2) Hearing an indicator disease; (3) higher prevalence it thought before; (4) may be able prognostic factor for sensorineural
