摘要: The aim of our research activity was to obtain a biocompatible nanostructured composite based on naturally derived biopolymers (chitin and sodium alginate) loaded with commercial antibiotics (either Cefuroxime or Cefepime) dual functions, namely promoting wound healing assuring the local delivery antibiotic. Compositional, structural, morphological evaluations were performed by using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analytical techniques. In order quantitatively qualitatively evaluate biocompatibility obtained composites, we tetrazolium-salt (MTT) agar diffusion in vitro assays L929 cell line. evaluation antimicrobial potential evaluated viable count assay strains belonging two clinically relevant bacterial species (i.e., Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus).
