摘要: Abstract Based on the principle of minimum potential energy and differential quadrature rule, novel weak form element method is proposed. Different from existing ones, expanded Chebyshev grid points are used as nodes. A simple but general way proposed to compute strains at integration explicitly by using rule. For illustration verification, bar beam elements established. Several examples given. Numerical results indicate that allows a longer time step compared with other nodes an accurate efficient for structural analysis.
