摘要: The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), in conjunction with NASA John H. Glenn Research Center and Stirling Technology Company, are currently developing a convertor for Radioisotope Generator (SRG). Headquarters DOE have identified the SRG potential use as an advanced spacecraft power system future deep-space Mars surface missions. Low-level dynamic impact tests were conducted at Center’s Structural Dynamics Laboratory part development this technology. purpose test was to identify structural characteristics Demonstration Convertor (TDC). This paper addresses setup, procedure results testing on TDC May 2001.
