摘要: Summary Objectives The aim of this study was to verify whether the electroglottography (EGG) perturbation parameters could be superior indicators traditional acoustic (Ac) measures, particularly for detection mild vocal roughness. Methods Thirty-nine participants with muscle tension dysphonia (the MTD group), 48 dysphonic fold lesions organic and 40 nondysphonic control group) were enrolled in study. Based on severity roughness, each two groups divided into mildly severely subgroups. Ac EGG signals during sustained /e:/ phonation recorded simultaneously. period amplitude quotients both (Ac-PPQ/-APQ EGG-PPQ/-APQ) calculated. receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analyses applied evaluate discriminative capabilities. Results In between groups, values areas under curve (AUC) EGG-PPQ significantly higher than those Ac-PPQ. Next, ROC subgroup demonstrated that AUC EGG-PPQ/EGG-APQ Ac-PPQ/Ac-APQ. group, value Conclusions present showed diagnostic accuracies signals, especially These results suggest provide better information perturbations.
