摘要: The purpose of this paper is to critically explore ways breaking through the ‘‘glass ceiling’’ women in management examine causes, effects, and role Human resources eliminating barriers strategies break “glass ceiling”. methods used collecting data are telephone interview an on-line self administered questionnaire. from was obtained 8 managers organization; interviews were transcribed, key points made by each manager coded analysis based on question asked. questionnaires 55 middle junior grade officers organization 47 responses received participants indicating a response rate 85 percent. results show that still face case even though efforts being reverse trend. study shows these can be eliminated organisations largely organisational policies. scope research small as it involves only one inadequate time for carrying out research. offer practical direction organizations. Also, knowledge gap observed area topic has been filled study. In addition, developing countries, few studies have explored ceiling” management.
