Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy as a potential tool for neoadjuvant therapy in patients with inoperable neuroendocrine tumours (NETs).

摘要: Purpose Neuroendocrine tumours (NET) are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms diffuse neuroendocrine cells. Surgery is the main aim in treatment NETs, which becomes impossible case large or infiltration into other tissues and/or important blood vessels. Neoadjuvant therapy might be helpful decreasing NET size also, leading us to point where tumour, previously considered inoperable, operable. The study was assess usage peptide receptor radionuclide (PRRT) as neoadjuvant treatment, enabling surgical intervention primary inoperable NET.
