摘要: A literature survey was conducted to assess animal responses logging and evaluate the usefulness of bioindicators as tools biodiversity conservation in logged tropical forests. The indicated that studies on impact arthropods herpetofauna are under-represented. Mammals main subject addressing effect fauna. Overall, does have an some animals but varied between within groups. Additionally, most so far vary greatly forest structures, taxa, methodologies, intensities histories study site, resulting a lack comparability among papers. Few investigated linkages changes composition groups functional significance these changes, nor they correlated with environmental after logging, complicating determination cause-effect relationships. Further difficulties were taxonomical complexity, small number trained people, costs monitoring population trends, information relations different groups, congruence traditional scales research (plots) appropriate land management. sum suggests until now indicators for operations may be ineffective implement managements. In this context, indicator development continues critical need ecology. However, it is good keep mind management systems, where usually inevitable time desirable, proposed would actually doing their role early warning when facilitating assessment acceptable degree habitat modification. Until there, more broadly inventories still needed status operations.
