摘要: A technique has been developed for the determination of absolute surface energies iron and alloys at temperatures up to melting point. The is based upon measurement contractile forces in thin foils. All measurements are made situ chemical equilibrium maintained throughout experiment. results show that phosphorus dilute solid solution decreases progressively energy 1450 °C from 2100 ergs cm -2 1200 , increasing contents 0.36%. Results were also obtained γ phase which effect less pronounced. Absolute grain boundary determined as a function content. From strain rate foils move by diffusion creep mechanism, it was deduced self coefficient increases linearly with Application Gibbs adsorption theorem permitted evaluation extents segregation solute interfaces. maximum levels 2.3 x 10 -9 g-atom surfaces 1.1 boundaries. relevance these problem intergranular brittle fracture iron/phosphorus discussed.
