摘要: We analyse the returns to schooling in Zambia a human capital model where participation and sector choice are assumed endogenous. In urban areas, we find that return primary is almost nil, whereas rural education positive. both cases secondary significant. Regarding allocation of workers across sectors, most able females areas become self-employed, males allocated according their comparative advantages. Females advantages, negatively self-selected into formal sector.
