Analytical treatment of high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions including mean field effects: Boltzmann equation approach

摘要: We study nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energy on the basis of Boltzmann's kinetic theory under assumption that incident per nucleon is enough for nucleon-nucleon to dominate strength mean field so latter may be treated perturbatively. Then, by use multiple collision expansion as well linearization techniques and eikonal approximation, we obtain stationary distribution function from Boltzmann equation with nuclear external force. The consists an infinite sum over components. Their momentum dependent parts obey a transport linear in force field, can evaluated analytically. They differ solution Fokker-Planck-type without forces, obtained previously, only shift caused field. present investigation confirms recently developed phenomenological approach which has been successful explaining sideward flow particles emitted individual events.
