摘要: Abstract In this paper, we study the integration of piezoelectric transducers and electrical circuitry onto a mechanical host structure to form an electromechanical periodic system. This scheme enables us take advantage unique wave propagation characteristics spatially systems thus manipulate energy flow/distribution in structure. Different from most previous investigations where spatial periodicity is typically due discontinuities structure, proposed can remain be continuous without being altered. Instead, consists branches which, when coupled through transducers, yields repetitive subsystems integrated The elements online tunable, effectively making manipulation adaptive excitation variations. A transfer matrix-based approach adopted dynamic analysis system, each subsystem represented by two state vectors with matrix relating them. Given nature periodicity, on entire system conducted focusing one single subsystem. Systematic carried out demonstrate attenuation terms constants as well responses. Effects tuning are also discussed detailed parametric studies. Implications potential applications illustrated.
