摘要: BACKGROUND Cake industry produces a heavily polluted wastewater that is characterized by high amounts of suspended solids, lipids, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical (BOD5) and nitrogen components. In this study, assessment the efficiency non-inoculated self-aerated immobilized biomass (SAIB) reactor for post-treatment anaerobic effluent cake processing was extensively investigated. RESULTS The operated at different hydraulic retention times (HRTs) sludge residence (SRTs). CODt CODs removal efficiencies increased from 50 ± 15.2 to 61.8 ± 20.7% 51.6 ± 9.3 60 ± 17.8% increasing HRT 2.5 5.0 h, respectively. Maximum nitrification concentration 67% ± 3.1% 39.8 gVS/ Lsponge obtained an SRT 42 days. The results empirical model showed good agreement between predicted experimental values. Ammonium oxidizing bacteria (AOB) dominated represented 0.14% middle zone where dissolved sufficient growth nitrifiers. CONCLUSION The innovative able treat with content carbon lipids in comparison other conventional technologies. contingent mainly on HRT, SRT, VSS/TSS ratio, F/M ratio CODp/CODt ratio.
