摘要: In Romania, local authorities and the newly established Regional Operators one of them being S.C. Compania de Apă Somes S.A., are required to fully comply with EU regulations concerning water wastewater quality. order to meet these requirements in due time, a lot investment projects have be prepared implemented. The financing these investments requires a progressive increase tariffs. last ten years, tariffs for water services have been significantly augmented, more than in any other East European country. same time, substantial reduction residential water consumption, measured liters per capita day, has observed. In this article, price elasticity residential water demand services was analyzed, given its importance framework the feasibility studies made in insure compliance water and Directives. same time, considerations regard evolution of the tariff provided, aim better explaining context which variables evolve.
