摘要: In this dissertation, we investigate problems of resource allocation for uplink multiuser wireless communication channels. The users want to upload compressed video streams with different rate-distortion (RD) characteristics a base station via multi-carrier channel. is organized in groups pictures (GOP), and the makes decisions based jointly on channel state information (CSI) RD minimize average distortion across all users. We first study case where slowly varying. With assumption staying constant over duration GOP, derive an optimal condition minimizing sum distortions setting continuous frequency response. Our result shows that specific band be assigned particular user, product slope curve user marginal rate increment corresponding should maximized. then design algorithm which iteratively calculates status CSI block fading setting. Compared two baseline algorithms use only single layer information, simulation results show cross scheme can consistently improve performance system. focus arbitrary mobility.
