摘要: We study the decay behaviors of ultracold atoms in metastable states with spin-orbit coupling (SOC), and demonstrate that there are two SOC-induced mechanisms. One arises from trapping potential other is due to interatomic collision. present general schemes for calculating rates these mechanisms, illustrate how can be controlled by experimental parameters. experimentally measure over a broad parameter region, results agree well theoretical calculations. This work provides an insight both quantum simulation involving dressed studies on few-body problems SO coupling.
