[Preoperative serum levels of CEA and CA19-9 in patients with gastric cancer].

摘要: The serum level determination of tumor markers in gastric cancer, more than other neoplasia, presents, many difficulties for the impossibility to identify specific molecules released during neoplastic growth. In this research authors report their experience on preoperative two diffusely used gastrointestinal neoplasia: CEA and CA19-9. study has been done order establish relations between expression some considered variables. values have studied 113 patients. A total 24% sensibility was reported while 48% CA19-9 applying cut-off levels 10 mg/ml 37 U/ml respectively. results shown a better with statistical significance marker stage disease (from 21% 66%), lymph nodal involvement 31% 59%), histologic grading 39% 48%) surgical purpose 37% 78%) (p < 0.001).
