摘要: A new methodology for the synthesis of tunable patch filters is presented. The helps designer to perform a theoretical analysis filter through coupling matrix that includes effect tuning elements used tune filter. This general accounts any parameter desired and was applied design dual-mode with independent control center frequency bandwidth (BW). bandpass uses single triangular resonator two etched slots split fundamental degenerate modes form passband. Varactor diodes assembled across are vary each mode independently, which feasible due nature scheme varactor diode model in simulations, their assembling, dc bias configuration, measured results theory compared simulations measurements showing very good agreement validating proposed methodology. fabricated presents an elliptic response 20% range around 3.2 GHz fractional BW variation from 4% 12% low insertion loss high power handling 1-dB compression point higher than .
