摘要: The paper proposes an alternative method for the earthquake-resistant design of HDC external beam-column joints which is based on assumption that load transferred from beam and column elements to joint predominantly resisted by a diagonal strut mechanism. validity proposed verified experimentally through comparative study behaviour seven full-size sub-assemblages—three them designed in compliance with current European Codes four accordance method—under cyclic loading. results obtained indicate that, contrast specimens code provisions, those so as comply specifications fully satisfy performance requirements.
