摘要: TYLCV transmission to different tomato accessions (Solanum lycopersicon L.) mediated by Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) During December 2006- February 2007 of potted plants (Biotype B) was evaluated in insect proof cages. Tomato Rio Orinoco hybrid (ROH), Grande (RGH), Cid (CH) and variety (RGV) were exposed for 48 hours individual cages whiteflies raised either on viral infected or healthy cotton plants. Thereafter, observed daily symptoms detection. Presence Begomovirus source determined PCR amplifying the 550 851 bp fragments central region gene coding coat protein. The sequences amplified have 99% 96% identity respectively with a isolate. For experimental only presence fragment. ROH, RGH RGV showed 11.3±1.4, 11.2±1.5 11.2+1.4 days post exposure period whiteflies, respectively. No CH despite detection PCR. Symptomatic reached 100% RGV, as well 95% ROH. These results suggest specific resistance infection. Additional key words: Resistant cultivars, vector, Begomovirus, Geminiviridae
