Local reactions between NaCl and KCl particles and metal surfaces

摘要: AbstractLocal reactions of NaCl particles with pure iron surfaces have been investigated to compare the results previous studies on local KCl particles. Before short-term oxidation at various temperatures in N2–20 vol.-%O2–0·05 vol.-%HCl atmospheres, microscale were deposited by thermophoresis bare and pre-oxidised samples. After reaction, samples examined using field emission microscopy (FEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) chemical analysis. In particular, reacted surface 300°C, depending gas phase composition. N2–O2 atmospheres very took place, whereas addition 500 vppm HCl led complete coverage chloride. addition, nickel 500°C for comparison those 300°C.
