摘要: The crystal and magnetic structures of BiFeO${}_{3}$ have been studied at high pressures up to 8.6 GPa by means neutron powder diffraction ambient temperature. Upon compression, a reduction the spontaneous ferroelectric polarization is evidenced from analysis atomic displacements in rhombohedral phase. A structural phase transition polar $R$3$c$ antipolar orthorhombic Pbam with antiferroelectic character was revealed $P$ = 3 GPa. lattice parameters 4.1 are $a$ 5.5177(4), $b$ 11.159(1) $c$ 7.7550(6) \AA{}. variation both phases as function pressure determined. initially incommensurate G-type antiferromagnetic structure becomes commensurate due transition.
