摘要: markdownabstract__Abstract__ Achilles was foretold to die young. When he still a baby, his mother Thetis took him the river Styx, which separated world of living from the realm Hades. The waters Styx were known bring invulnerability to those who touched by them. Thetis bathed infant in magical Styx. After that, Achilles lived, grew and flourished. As came age, Achilles became fearless warrior leader Trojan War, during he acquired reputation unassailability. Until, midst battle, poisonous arrow pierced through Achilles’ heel, killed him... had held her baby by heel when she submerged Styx. left only Achilles’ vulnerable.
