摘要: Although the participation of central nervous system (CNS) in regulation cardiovascular function has been known for more than a century, pervasive significance neural mechanisms only recognized quite recently. In addition to well-established role CNS regulating balance sympathetic and parasympathetic outflow controlling reflexes, it is now becoming clear that endocrine are integrated with factors into complex neuroendocrine control regulation. These findings being combined pharmaco logical, molecular biological, clinical areas investigation an emergent discipline “cardiovascular neurobiology.” This chapter focuses selectively upon evidence importance medullary pathways regulation, particularly afferent functions area postrema nucleus tractus solitarii, efferent ventrolateral medulla, these regions integration.
