摘要: Abstract Forty-four male rats were subjected to unilateral intradural section of dorsal roots T13-L6. Of these, 10 housed alone and 34 with female rats. Each the animals self-mutilated an extreme degree, 7 cannibalizing denervated limb. Only one a showed any sign self-biting, this was minor, isolated incident. These results are discussed particular reference rhizotomy in serving as model chronic pain.
