摘要: Abstract Ceropegia species (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae) have pitfall flowers and are pollinated by small flies through deception. It has been suggested that these attracted floral scent. However, the scent is emitted from not studied using headspace gas chromatography mass spectrometry methods. also unclear whether or mimics of particular models attract flies. In present study, we determined composition as well spatial temporal patterns C. dolichophylla. Furthermore, pollinators in native (China) non-native (Germany) range this species, tested capability to range. Our data demonstrate scent, which morning until evening, primarily tips corolla lobes, consists mainly spiroacetals aliphatic compounds. Milichiid were common visitors/pollinators range, bioassays performed The compounds dolichophylla unusual for flowers, but known insect pheromones occur glandular secretions insects. milichiid visit pollinate kleptoparasites feed on prey (haemolymph other secretions) predatory arthropods, e.g. spiders, they thus suggest feeding sites kleptoparasitic
