摘要: We investigated the sedimentary record of Lake Hancza (northeastern Poland) using a multi-proxy approach, focusing on early to mid-Holocene climatic and environmental changes. AMS 14C dating terrestrial macrofossils sedimentation rate estimates from occasional varve thickness measurements were used establish chronology. The onset Holocene at c. 11 600 cal. BP is marked by decline Lateglacial shrub vegetation shift clastic-detrital deposition an autochthonous dominated biochemical calcite precipitation. Between 10 000 9000 BP, further improvement indicated spread deciduous forests, increase in lake organic matter 1.7 parts per thousand rise oxygen isotope ratios both endogenic ostracod valves. Rising delta 18O values probably caused combination hydrological factors. persistence relatively cold dry climate conditions northeastern Poland during first one half millennia could be related regional eastern European atmospheric circulation pattern. Prevailing anticyclonic linked high-pressure cell above retreating Scandinavian Ice Sheet might have blocked influence warm moist Westerlies attenuated amelioration region until final decay ice sheet.
