摘要: Measuring high-intensity turbulence with fast response pressure probe sensors has proved to be an effective and accurate technique; unfortunately, according the available literature, most research focuses primarily on high-velocity (>100 m/s) applications. Commercially sensor systems are available; however, designs intended for not only flow but also high bandwidth ( $\sim 10$ kHz) multidirectional applications, which drastically increase cost complexity. Extremely limited options exist those seeking a simple yet sensitive unidirectional turbulent measurement method; therefore, purpose of this paper is provide means future scientists engineers develop tailored their specific needs. Research presented in design analysis two high-sensitivity, low-cost probes invasive measurements low-velocity (<20 highly air flow. The design, calibration techniques, modeling discussed experimentally validated.
