摘要: A recent development in the use of lidar remote sensing techniques is ground-based laser scanning. Laser scanning rock faces yields spatial relation between all scanned surface points, at a very high resolution, basically dense "point cloud" three-dimensional space. The subject this research to obtain discontinuity information from point cloud data set, using an approach that can be automated. first step methodology interpolate 3D Delaunay triangulation order create surface. As triangulated surface, face represented by large number triangles. orientation each triangle subsequently computed basic geometrical rules. Analysis kernel density stereo plots triangles, reveal specific sets recognised. Obviously, if further developed and fully automated, would give site engineer or geologist, realtime, evidence on internal structure any discontinuous mass. Particularly areas where access outcrops poor, application technique will promising.
