摘要: We systematically reviewed studies examining information needs of post-myocardial infarction patients and their families. Electronic databases bibliographies relevant papers were searched experts in the field contacted to find studies. A standardised data form was used extract on study populations, instruments results. Of 14 published studies, 6 same instrument. Information about risk factors ranked as most important category overall, followed by cardiac anatomy physiology, medications, physical activity. miscellaneous items, diet, psychological factors, CCU, although lower, still rated important. Some variation between settings evident. Patients preferred physicians over nurses givers. Differences found patient nurse ratings categories. self-perceived responding different instruments, indicating a priming effect. Changes ranking categories PCCU PD are congruent with decreasing levels dependency.
