摘要: Background Providing specialised services to individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis (FEP) is a relatively new endeavour. Aims To overview developing for newly diagnosed cases of FEP and the context in which they develop. Method This paper describes five model multi-element programmes, outlines recent evaluation studies services, discusses current evidence gaps relating complex interventions specific illustrates attempts examine aspects clinical work practised at Early Psychosis Prevention Intervention Centre (EPPIC) Melbourne, Australia. Results Considerable progress has been made interms influencing practice assessment treatment early psychosis. Conclusions There need quality research efforts inform accelerate this burgeoning field.
