摘要: Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy, LIBS, is a method utilizing laser ablation and the subsequent atomic emission from plasma for elemental analysis. Besides acronym today other designations such as LIPS (laser-induced spectroscopy), LA-OES (laser optical or LSS spark spectroscopy) can be found in literature. at present only analytical that offers direct sampling any kind of material without sample preparation. So LIBS allows multielement analysis virtually all type materials (gas, solids, liquids) through spectroscopy. Today’s availability reliable less costly sources improved detectors permits rapid, on-line, in-situ with LIBS. This makes especially attractive process environmental screening monitoring.
