摘要: The shale of Yanchang Formation in Upper Triassic is the most important source rock for Mesozoic petroleum reserviors Ordos Basin. Chang 7 and 4+5 members are major formation. Source samples, obtained from 22 cored wells central Basin, were geochemically analyzed to determine organic matter abundance, kerogen type thermal maturity. Total carbon values ranged 0.36% 19.10%, 8.09% on average, indicating a good potential. In this area, mature, as indicated by vitrinite reflectance values. Rock-Eval data revealed that samples dominated II kerogen.
