摘要: Abstract A simple model for the effect of intergranular corrosion on overall processes is investigated using a cellular automata approach. The corroding polycrystalline material consists domains and their boundaries. represent monocrystalline cores while boundaries defects. Either, periodic pattern or randomly generated Voronoi tessellation are used to structure. parameters model, taking into account aspect corrosion, domain density probabilities metal grain core boundary sites. probability set value higher than it core. complex surface structure appears with high geometrical roughness when defects not too dense. strong correlation established between evolution, crystalline properties mechanism dissolution. This work concerns simulations in 3D extends previous limited 2D simulations.
