摘要: The study hinged on the socio-economic analysis of inorganic versus organic practices in Irish potato production Kisoro District, Uganda. comprised field surveys and desk reviews using materials gathered from various departments at District Local Government (KDLG), NGOs, agro inputs dealers, Key Informants (KI) farming communities. Production per hectare was looked into since it gives a clue to types systems employed, which determines use amendments. findings showed that is associated with immigrant farmers Rwanda, NGOs agricultural extension personnel. Actual adoption determined by farmer income type farming—commercial associations remained active because financial capability. high population pressure, need for more output, intensive cultivation reduced soil productivity ha have led production. face different challenges such as inability continuous purchase judicious fertilizers, threats human ecosystem (environmental) health are paving way traditional farming. latter contains several benefits including good quality potatoes, low risks humans ecosystems sustained fertility.
