摘要: A system was developed which allows the transfer of foreign genes into apricot cultivars. We report transformation and regeneration Prunus armeniaca plants with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain LBA 4404 containing various binary plasmids, pBinGUSint, carrying marker gene s-glucuronidase (GUS) pBinPPVm, coat protein Plum Pox Virus (PPV). The GUS used for optical evaluation efficiency system. PPV to introduce mediated resistance against one most important pathogens stone fruit trees in Europe whole Mediterranean area. This is first successful integration a viral tree species, opening new perspective on control disease.
