摘要: A simple one-dimensional π-electron Hamiltonian is considered to study the evolution of ground state conducting polymers as a function doping. It pointed out that semiconducting and ”metallic” phases differ by an order magnitude in their respective energy states. This observed soliton lattice from periodic array well separated kinks antikinks either small amplitude bond-order wave or marginal Fermi liquid.
