摘要: Daily office work is often a mix of concentrated desktop and scheduled meetings appointments. However, constantly checking the clock alarming popups interrupt flow creative as they require user’s focused attention. We present Ambient Timer, an ambient light display designed to unobtrusively remind users upcoming events. The - mounted around monitor slowly catch attention raise awareness for event while not distracting her from primary task such writing paper. Our experiment compared established reminder techniques or using against Timer in two different designs. One these designs produced which participants felt well informed on progress time experienced better "flow" than with traditional reminders.
