摘要: Abstract The triplet (T 1 ) state IR spectra of 9 aromatic compounds, i.e. acenaphthene, biphenyl, chrysene, coronene, fluorene, 2-phenylpyridine, 5-monoazaphenanthrene (5-MAP) and triphenylene, embedded in rigid glass at 77 K are reported. symmetry the T vibrations has been determined from linear dichroism measurements excited molecules stretched polymer films. vibrational were tentatively assigned on basis analogous experimental theoretical results for respective ground-state molecules.
