Steering of Molecular Multiple Dissociative Ionization with Strong Few-Cycle Laser Fields

摘要: Coherent control is an implicit goal of quantum physics and chemistry, which have been significantly developed in utilizing light to over the dynamics atomic molecular systems. We show that process multiple dissociative ionization carbon monoxide (CO) molecules controllable using intense phase-stabilized few-cycle laser field (4.2 fs, 740 nm, \(6 \times 1{0}^{14}\,\mathrm{W}/{\mathrm{cm}}^{2})\). demonstrate emission direction \({\mathrm{C}}^{2+}\) from charge asymmetrical dissociation CO dications out phase a linearly polarized field. The strong coupling between channels explained with mechanisms recollision excitation ionization. competition leads opposite property. results provide insight into attosecond complex molecule.
