摘要: ABSTRACTSingle layer automotive topcoat samples, representing seven distinct colours, were chosen for this study. Discrimination between the samples based on their colour differences, observed both visually and using reflectance microspectrophotometry, is assessed. Results from our attempts to differentiate topcoats chemistry, irrespective of colour, microchemical spot tests, infrared spectroscopy, pyrolysis-gas chromatography are presented.
