The Relationship Between Work Roles and Information Seeking Behaviors Among Selected Protestant Ministers in Tarrant County, Texas

摘要: Is there a relationship between work role and information seeking behavior? Three behaviors were examined: choice of channel, method for retrieval, storing retrieved information. The Protestant clergy was selected as profession with clearly identified roles, including preacher administrator. Questionnaires mailed to 150 randomly ministers in Tarrant County, Texas. Sixty-four responded. Additionally, fifteen at random interviewed additional data. data collected through the questionnaires analyzed using nonparametric statistical techniques.
