摘要: Flash crowds and high concentrations of users in wireless LANs (WLANs) cause significant interference problems unsustainable load at access points. This leads to poor connectivity for users, severe performance degradation, possible WLAN collapse. To validate this claim, we present two case studies large, heavily loaded operational WLANs. These provide insight into the degraded collapse a during heavy use. address these problems, propose IQU, practical queue-based user association management system IQU grants fair opportunities while maintaining overall throughput, even when is loaded. The basic premise control associations with through request queues work period allocations. We implement prototype evaluate it on testbed. Our evaluation demonstrates that significantly improves network throughput under load; tradeoff have wait access. explore impact parameters performance, robustness conditions. Through WLANs can be utilized efficiently prevented.
