摘要: A major, hitherto unknown protein which is shown to be developmentally regulated has been isolated from rat liver. The a molecular mass of 150 kDa and constitutes 8-10% the adult liver protein. Immunoblot experiments immunofluorescence studies established its presence specifically in cells. This not present early embryonic cells, gets induced around day 18 gestation reaches near levels by 1 after birth found cells an ascitic hepatoma. Unlike albumin alpha-fetoprotein, two well known proteins, secreted. Some characteristics this liver-specific are discussed.
