Synthesis of Industrial Waste Based Metal Catalysts for Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane

摘要: The preparation of metal catalysts has been studied by using four industrial wastes, two coming from a textile company (sludge and ash) collected an automotive (two different types sludge). wastes have characterized atomic absorption, XRD, XRF to determine the metals crystalline phases present, they mixed with proportions V2O5 for hydrothermal synthesis various families catalysts. All synthesized catalysts, as well dry subjected calcination process, tested in oxidative dehydrogenation propane, excellent results obtained: conversions close 20% recrystallized without V selectivities higher than 90% up 95% having V2O5/waste ratio 1:1. highlight potential benefits dangerous high contents heavy commercial
