摘要: Abstract A direct method of calibrating the Muskingum routing equation is explained. Linear programming techniques are used to minimize absolute value error. The error defined as difference between an observed and a routed outflow hydrograph. An alternative but more complicated objective function would be sum squares errors at observation points. linear could applied in conjunction with Gill's segmented curve for non storage relationships.
