摘要: Abstract Ion transport across membranes with surface charge due to ion adsorption, including the diffuse double layer effects, is analysed using network simulation method. The membrane system under study a multilayer one constituted by and two diffusion boundary layers on both sides of membrane. processes are described Nernst–Planck Poisson equations not only in membrane–solution interfaces, but also bulk layers. has negative an anion adsorption process. structure equilibrium steady-state current–voltage characteristic have been for case process Langmuir-type isotherm. evolution electric potential difference state as function bathing concentrations, analysed.
