摘要: Short bowel syndrome may result from extensive resection of the small bowel. Because transport bile salts, cobalamin (vitamin B 12 ), and cholesterol is localized to ileum, this region poorly tolerated. Patients who have had their ileum resected cannot absorb cholesterol, long chain fatty acids, fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), metal ions (Ca 2+ , Mg Zn ). Liposomes are suitable biological vehicles for non-parenteral delivery these water nutrients directly into blood patients with syndrome. compartmentalized vesicles consisting bilayer lipids enclosing aqueous chambers. The lipid can be commercially packaged in respective compartments delivered stream patients, thereby bypassing intestines. liposomes pass through barriers. Their solubility rich surface membranes permits release enclosed diffusion interior cells.
