摘要: In microelectrical discharge machining (μEDM), the repeatability of microshafts with same diameter is low due to complex and stochastic nature sparking. To improve repeatability, effects main error sources on accuracy fabricated by wire electrical grinding (WEDG) were analyzed. Strategies minimize differences between target microshaft finally obtained semifinishing finishing then proposed. Determining an appropriate infeed (depth a cut) according desired erosion depth in radial direction (ΔR) was chosen as control strategy for produced WEDG. determine infeed, empirical models that evaluate relationship ΔR developed through large number experiments. For using WEDG, strategies such zero stopping electrode running, proposed eliminate some inherent errors. Finally, determining verified successful fabrication stepped microshaft, which has small deviations from its diameters. By employing strategies, diameters 26 out 28 found lie range 45 ± 2 μm. The experimental results verify are effective can be used repeatability.
